Comprised of the best Israel has to offer when it comes to hip, young and cutting edge vocalists and musicians; The Isramerica House Band has it all. This group brings together top-notch Israeli and Jewish American vocalists that have graced many a concert hall in Israel as well as famous venues all over the world. Judah Gavra, Talya Smilowitz, Omer Shaish, Stav Livne and renowned pianist Natalie Tenenbaum have come a long way from Tel-Aviv to Times Square. They are graduates of the IDF Israeli Defense Force bands, alumnus of Juilliard, The Manhattan School of Music and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Pianist Natalie Tenenbaum has toured the world with many Broadway shows as well as performed at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. The band performs in Hebrew, English, Yiddish and other languages bringing forth a repertoire of classic Israeli songs, Rock ballads, Ethnic Mizrachi Music, Klezmer, Folk, Broadway Hits, Israeli and American Pop Music and Jewish Music we all know and love.
Stav Livne currently attends The Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music and studies voice with Patricia McCarffey. This past year Stav has appeared in the film A Modest Suggestion; and has modeled for several hair shows. She has recorded newly composed songs for The National Geographic's Channel nature documentary. Her previous roles and performances were Gherardino in Gianni Schicchi, Lady Thiang in The King and I, Hedy La Rue in How to Succeed in business..., and The Hare in Alice in Wonderland; Carmen, Le Fille du Régiment, Dido and Aeneas, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, and others.
Judah Gavra made his New York debut at Carnegie Hall in 2008. Performed in "Broadway on Broadway"-2009. Performed in the NYMF 2010 musical "The Tenth Floor","AIDA" in Hilton Head SC, "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" at Casa Manana, "A Christams Carol" at McCarter Theater, "The Full Monty" and "Kingdom"-Rock-Hip Hop Musical-East coast premier both in ReVision Theater. Played Keno in MSW Theater's production of "The Full Monty". Toured the U.S, Canada and Europe as a member of the IDF choir. Thanks to God, Mom and Dad and TJ for the endless support.
Talya Smilowitz was born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut and graduated from The Juilliard School, where she received the Lucrezia Bori grant to study abroad in Italy. Additionally, Talya completed her Master of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music. She has performed in numerous operatic roles and she appeared in the Off-Broadway production of Shlomo. She currently serves as cantorial soloist at the Jewish Congregation of Brookville in Long Island and is a member of Actors' Equity.
Omer Shaish graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in NYC. His NYC credits include Irma La Douce and Tovarich (Vital Theater), the National tour of Seussical- The Musical (Theatreworks USA), and the Broadway On Broadway concert in Times Square (2009). Omer is the winner of the second "Take 2!" reality song contest (Donʼt Tell Mama/Birdland 2010). Omer was born and raised in Israel and served as a soloist in the Israeli Air Force Band. In Tel Aviv, he performed in the Israeli National Premiers of Spring Awakening and Chicago, as well as the Original Israeli Musicals The Troupe, King Solomon and Shalmai the Cobbler, and Mary-Lou.
Natalie Tenenbaum was born in Israel and graduated cum laude from Thelma Yellin High School of Arts in Givatayim, Israel. She completed her Bachelor of Music in piano performance at The Julliard School in 2007. Ms. Tenenbaum is an avid performer of solo and chamber music and has performed in many concerts and master classes. A recipient of scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and the Ronen Foundation, Ms. Tenenbaum has toured Europe with the Youth Orchestra of the Americas and performed with Israel Symphony Orchestra. Recently she has been touring in Europe, Asia and the United States as Pianist/Associate Conductor for the touring companies of West Side Story, 42nd Street, Evita, Les Miserables and Jesus Christ Superstar.
